As part of the NIT North Expansion, Phase II, approximately 2,000,000 linear feet of wick drains were installed to depths of approximately 35 feet. Approximately 20 feet of surcharge was used with the wick drains to accelerate the settlement prior to construction of the parking areas.

TerraSystems performed the installation with two installation units, averaging over 15,000 linear feet of wick drain per day per stitcher.
